Description

I was photographing along the Lake Nanita Trail and at Lake Nanita in Rocky Mountain National park, where we camped/fished for Colorado River cutthroat trout. While hiking around the lake I slipped, and cracked the filter on the lens of my camera, which added some unexpected dimension to my photos! It was a pleasant surprise and offered a unique way of seeing this stunning area and the fish we were looking for! Even though the first portion of this trail was burned, it still offered stunning views and commanded respect at the quick and healthy regrowth that is taking place.
